Yorktown Athletic Club BASEBALL FIELDS

1) BROOKSIDE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL (BROAD STREET)

These fields are used primarily for TEE BALL (GRADE K), BANTAM (GRADES 1 AND 2) AND MINORS (GRADES 3 AND 4) DIVISIONS

·       From the center of town (Intersection of Route 202/35 and 118)……Proceed 1/2  mile north on Saw Mill River Road (118/35) to Broad Street.  Make a left turn onto Broad Street.  Brookside School is 2/10 mile on your left.  There is some parking in the front, but most parking is in the rear of the school.  Walk through the end of the parking lot to the field complex.

 ·       From Route 202…….Proceed east on Granite Springs Road (across from Mildred E. Strang Middle School)  for 8/10 of a mile.  Turn right onto Broad Street.  Take Broad Street for one mile.  The school is on your right side.

2) HARRISON APAR FIELD OF DREAMS (intersection of Benjamin Blvd. & Broad Street)

This field are used by the MAJORS (GRADES 6,7,8)

·       From the center of town (Intersection of Route 202/35 and 118)……Proceed 1/2 mile north on Saw Mill River Road (118/35) to Broad Street.  Make a left turn onto Broad Street.  Proceed 1/2 mile to Benjamin Blvd. Make a left turn on Benjamin Blvd. and go straight for 2/10 of a mile.  Field and parking is straight ahead.  This is a housing development with many young children….please drive slowly and carefully as you arrive and leave from Apar Field.

·       From Route 202…….Proceed east on Granite Springs Road (across from Mildred E. Strang Middle School) for 8/10 of a mile.  Turn right onto Broad Street.  Take Broad Street for 6/10 of a mile to Benjamin Blvd.  Turn right onto Benjamin and proceed straight ahead for 2/10 of a mile.  Field and parking is straight ahead.

3) HUNTERBROOK PARK - 2425 Hunterbrook Road

This field is used by the Bantam & Minors (Grade 2,3,4,5) DIVISIONS

·       From the center of town (Intersection of Route 202/35 and 118), proceed west on Route 202 for 3.3 miles.  You will pass underneath the Taconic Parkway, Mobil station on left, and BJ’s on left.  Make the first left after the light at BJ’s / Dunkin Donuts onto Pine Grove Court.  After making left, go about 50 feet and make an immediate right turn onto Old Crompond Road.  You are now parallel to Route 202.  Take Old Crompond Road for 3/10 of a mile to Hunterbrook Road.  Turn left onto Hunterbrook Road and go 3/10 of a mile.  Turn left into the park.  The parking lot and field are straight ahead.

4) ROUTE 202 FIELDS - 2758 Crompond Road

These fields are used by ALL DIVISIONS

 ·        These fields are on Route 202, between Yorktown HS and the Presbyterian Church on Route 132.  There are 2 parking lots, one just east of Yorktown HS and the other one is across from the Presbyterian Church at the light at the corner of Route 202 and 132.

5) LEGACY  FIELD

This field is used by the Minors, Majors & Travel Teams DIVISION

·       From the center of town (Intersection of Route 202/35 and 118), proceed west on Route 202 for 2.0 miles to Route 132 (Old Yorktown Road) (Presbyterian Church on corner).  Turn right on Route 132 and proceed 1.7 miles to Strang Blvd. (at bottom of hill).  Turn left at Strang Blvd. Go up the hill, the Legacy Complex houses two baseball fields that accomodate 46-60' up to 90' diamonds....

6) Granite Knolls -  2975 Stoney Street, Mohegan Lake, NY 10588

         This is a 60 X 90 artifical turf field that can be modified for little leage use, by all division.  NO SPIKES ALLOWED!
